``This is the highest rate of progress students have ever achieved at the School and reinforces the fact that at Higham Lane, every student is valued and we always challenge them to aspire to achieve their personal best. We are opening a Sixth Form in September to continue this excellent work at post-16 level.
``Governors and I would particularly like to thank and congratulate Year 11 Progress Leader, Iain Morris, and all of our teaching and support staff, who have worked so hard and so effectively to enable the students to achieve these fantastic results.
``We are also most grateful to our parents and carers for all their constant support and encouragement. But the biggest congratulations has to go to the students themselves!''
