Higham Lane Hits The Top 10% Of Similar Schools In England!

Higham Lane School was delighted to have its excellent summer 2014 exam performance confirmed by the release of the Department for Education's Performance Tables.

The 2014 GCSE Performance Tables confirm the following:

> Higham Lane School achieved the highest passrate of any non-selective secondary school in Warwickshire at 86% 5+A*-C grades including English and Maths. This figure was 30% above the national average!

> All pupils of all abilities made very good progress between Year 7 and Year 11, no matter what their starting point. This performance places the School within the top 10% of similar schools nationally.

> Pupils who are eligible for Free School Meals and children who are Looked After make excellent progress.

A delighted Headteacher, Phil Kelly, said: `` We are thrilled that we have performed within the top 10% of similar schools nationally for pupil progress. This shows that students of all abilities make very good progress at Higham Lane, irrespective of their starting points.
